Storm Bert did little to lower the numbers at Philip Norman’s Carol Talk at St Michael’s, Llanvihangel Crucorney on Saturday 23rd November. Close to 40 people braved the weather to learn what’s behind some of our most-loved carols.
Philip gave an entertaining and informative talk which included some snippets of music, getting toes tapping! Tea, coffee and cake after went down very well and there was a real buzz as people mingled and chatted. What a wonderful way to prepare for Advent.
We are very fortunate to have Philip’s talents across the Ministry Area as he offers musical guidance and organ playing for several of our churches. Philip also runs the NMMA Choir which sing regularly at special services and events. There is no choir experience required and participation in one event doesn’t mean commitment to all.
