St Teilo’s Church, Llantilio Pertholey held their annual open day on Saturday 14th September. The weather was beautiful which attracted visitors to both outdoor and indoor activities.
Outside, a BBQ was enjoyed in the churchyard and Father Julian took his position as Chief Teddy Bear parachuter from the church tower!
Inside, visitors enjoyed a wonderful sale of cakes, teas, preserves, fruit and veg. Some were introduced to the art of bellringing as well as a photographic exhibition of past clergy and church registers.
A total of £493.05 was raised for church funds with remaining cake sales at Sunday’ service looking to raise that amount. Well done to all those involved.
