A very productive day was had at St Michael’s, Llanvihangel Crucorney on the 13th April by the Craft Workshop. Construction began on the Tower of Flowers in preparation for the Flower Festival in May.
Hundreds of flowers had been crocheted, knitted, sewn and stitched ready to be cascading from the church Tower on Whitsun Bank Holiday. The ladies’ hard work became clear when it came to attaching these beautiful flowers to the wire frame!
Everyone was kept topped up with tea and biscuits and even Bruce the dog came along to lend a hand! Many thanks to Sian Lloyd at St Michael’s for organising everything.
The final crafting session is on Saturday 27th April 10.30am – 4.30pm and Monday Crafts on the 29th April from 10.30am – 12.30pm. All help is welcome!
