On Saturday 17th February, Archdeacon Ian Rees led the second part of our Ministry Area Vision Day. The morning was held at St Michael’s, Llanvihangel Crucorney with a group from across the MA. This session was designed to build on Part One of the Workshop held at Skenfrith back in November which focussed on the challenges and opportunities faced by Ministry Areas.

Each group discussed goals for our churches, Pastoral Districts and Ministry Area as a whole. These ideas were centred around the Diocesan Vision themes and how these could be achieved:
- Discipleship
- Environment
- Equality & Diversity
- Social Justice
- Stewardship
Issues that were touched on included clergy support, increasing growth in our churches and the encouragement of families and younger worshippers. Environmental goals were also discussed, with an aim of all our 17 churches to achieve their Bronze Eco Church Award within the next 5 years.
