During Holy Week, our Schools Engagement Pioneer Emily Bailey hosted two heart warming Easter Craft Lunches.
On Tuesday, it was the turn of Skenfrith Village Hall, which drew a total of 22 both families and children. Some attend our churches, some saw averts through our schools, all of which thoroughly enjoyed the day.
On Maundy Thursday, it was held at Llantilio Pertholey Primary School which drew a total of 33. Again, a mix of well-known families and new faces. These were two very heart-warming Easter-themed events that reminded us all of the important message of Easter.

These Easter family events brought smiles, laughter, and creativity to our communities, as children, parents, and grandparents alike shared glowing feedback about their experiences.
But here’s the thing: the success of these events wasn’t about the craft or the delicious food – it was about community. It was about people coming together to create something special.
We’re excited to share that more events like this are on the horizon! However, we need your help to make them happen. Emily (or brilliant SEP) can’t do it all alone.
