The North Monmouthshire Ministry Area is delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new Youth Choir and Organ Scholarship programme, made possible thanks to a grant from the Ouseley Church Music Trust.
The initiative aims to inspire a new generation of musicians whilst safeguarding the rich musical heritage of the area’s 17 historic churches. The programme will offer a unique opportunity to learn, perform and develop musical talents in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The programme will establish a Youth Choir for young people aged 9-14, singing everything from contemporary songs to traditional choral music, alongside an Organ Scholarship Programme offering funded tuition and practical experience with the opportunity to play on some of Monmouthshire’s beautiful historic pipe organs.
The Ministry Area is now inviting applications from anyone, young and old, who is interested in learning the organ.

We are also seeking an enthusiastic Musical Director to establish and lead the Youth Choir, inspiring the next generation of singers and building a vibrant musical community for years to come.
