Weddings

We’re delighted you are interested in holding your wedding in our Ministry Area. Weddings are always joyous occasions in the Church. We would love to help make your day as memorable as possible. Our churches offer some of Wales’s most beautiful listed buildings for your wedding as well as ensuring your union is full of depth and spirituality.

We believe marriage to be a gift from God and we will do all we can to make this happy day perfect for you, your family and friends. A marriage service asks God to bless and guide you throughout your married life. Our vicars will spend some time getting to know you as well as helping with preparations for your wedding.

If you live in the Ministry Area or are planning to get married in one of our churches, you will need to have your banns read out three times, starting approximately 6 months prior to your wedding.

Once you have chosen which church you would like to hold your wedding in, we ask that you get in touch with the vicar of that church/Pastoral District to begin making plans. You can also find the relevant vicar through the individual church pages.
