The Church in Wales has undergone a recent reorganisation. This change in structure has now created new Ministry Areas. Our Ministry Area is part of the Diocese of Monmouth and is a group of seventeen churches all working together for team mission and ministry across North Monmouthshire. Our Ministry Area is divided into 5 Pastoral Districts:
Each Pastoral District is run by its own Vicar as well as an extensive team of clergy, all supported by MA Lead, Revd. Julian Gray. The Ministry Area is also fortunate enough to have a dedicated group of church wardens, treasurers, secretaries and volunteers who all assist in the running of our churches. Each church has a Church Council that deals with matters on a local basis. We also have a Ministry Area Council made up of representatives from churches across the MA who meet regularly to discuss operational and administrative tasks. The Ministry Area allows the skills and talents of individuals to be used in all aspects of our mission.
Whilst it is a radical change, we hope our newly commissioned Ministry Area will improve communication between our rural and often isolated communities, creating a sense of belonging and identity. We aim to build relationships across our churches and help to serve the wider needs of the people of North Monmouthshire.

We thank you for the opportunity to work together as a Ministry Area. May we engage with each other with faith and encouragement. May we manage each situation with wisdom and mutual respect. May we serve with integrity, creativity and purpose. May we speak with openness and gentleness. May we offer our gifts, time and finances with generosity. May we face each challenge with courage and the desire to grow through it. May we all be drawn deeper into our relationship with You and be known as your disciples. Help us to show your love, proclaim your Good News and grow your Kingdom in this place. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
